It was a clear and warm morning in Knightdale, NC at Forestville Elementary when the “Rock & Roll Battledome” was installed for a surprise team building event. When the teachers walked in and saw the cafeteria was now home to dozens of drums and a full LIVE ROCK BAND was jamming, the delight on their faces was incredible!
We held a fun (yet competitive!) Battle of the Bands, and all the teachers and administrators blew the judges away as their inner rockstars showed up in full force. Two bands were formed, and they learned the drum parts to some classic rock and roll songs, then rocked out with our live band to impress the judges!
The winning band got to jam along to an 80’s dance party and the ULTIMATE winner got a special surprise: SHE PLAYED ELECTRIC GUITAR WITH OUR HOUSE BAND! Does she know how to play guitar? Not at all! But we have some magic that allows ANYONE to learn guitar and play with our bands!
